Another Book Releases Today!

champagneIt’s 12/12/12. I love that date! And I’m also happy that it happens to be a book release day for me. Today ‘That Night’ is released into the wild. I’m particularly happy about this book because, while my science fiction and horror stories seem to get picked up by publishers, I’ve not had much luck with my contemporary romance stories. So I’m pretty pleased that the Wild Rose Press liked this one!

It’s a short novella, stuffed to the gills with mulled wine, roaring fires, snow – and books. Yes, books. The working title of this one was ‘Bookworms in Love.’ And unlike my other stories, this is a feel-good story. No one gets tortured, betrayed or killed. Just a lovely happy ever after for  two very nice people; characters I’d actually invite into my own home without reservations *grin*

I’ve laid out some yummy snacks, a keg of beer for Luke, and a couple of bottles of champagne. You are cordially invited to celebrate another release day with me. Big thanks to the people who continue to support me in my attempts at a writing career. I’m really very grateful, especially to Ros Clarke, who beta read the story and helped me make it much better. Now the poor Brits won’t be confused when Lindy toasts her buns in front of the fire. *grin* Two glasses of champagne for Ros!

Here’s the blurb and buy links, followed by my basic blog tour schedule. I’ll be adding a couple of dates to it in the near future. There will be a few giveaways for anyone who wants the book, but are broke from all the Christmas shopping. Anyone who wishes to post a review can contact me for a free review copy. I’ll link to the blog posts as they go live.

ThatNight_w7145_300Lindy Hopkins works early, works late, always gets the job done and never, ever has incredible one night stands with handsome coworkers. Until that night. But it’s okay. She’s just going to keep on pretending that it never happened.

Alex Anderson never imagined that buttoned-down workaholic Lindy had the ability to transform into a table-dancing, champagne-guzzling femme fatale. Until that night. And it’s not okay that she’s been giving him the coldest of shoulders ever since.

Neither are prepared to face the other, but they have no choice. They’ve each booked the company Catskill cabin for a few days before Christmas and are both too stubborn to budge. Over mulled wine and under a blanket of snow, it’s starting to look like that night might happen all over again.

But this time Alex is playing for keeps, while Lindy is determined that no man will come before her career. Will they find that love is forever or will it be just another night to remember?

Interested? You can buy it directly from the publisher, Wild Rose Press, from Amazon or All Romance E-Books. It should be up on Barnes and Noble soon.

You can also add the book on Goodreads.

Congratulations, Do. What a great early Christmas gift. And now that I’m in California for the holidays, I’m ordering all that I can of your books. I also plan on getting a Kindle for Christmas so I don’t have to go through this anymore. Merry Christmas, my friend ❤
