Science Fiction Fantasy Saturday

It’s time again to share a snippet from one of my stories for Science Fiction Fantasy Saturday. This snippet is from Mako’s Bounty which, I am pleased to announce, will be published by Decadent Publishing as part of their 1NightStand line.

I’ve previously introduced bounty hunter, Makiko Dolan, AKA Mako the Shark. This snippet introduces the man she has been hunting for the last nine months – space pirate Vin Sainte. In this scene he’s been instructing Mako in some particularly earthly pleasures.

“It’s a thing for Earthers, to try and catch a spacer on their first visit. They like to introduce us to the pleasures of the senses.  Some of them go too far. Spacers have gone into comas, even died, from the sensory overload to their systems. One spacer lost his mind, I heard, getting fucked by a beautiful woman on top of one of the pyramids in Egypt after drinking a bottle of the world’s most expensive wine. It was all too much for him. Earthers will dine out on their stories of what they did to spacers. They dine out for years. I’ll be much more gentle with you, sweet Makiko. I won’t give you more than you can handle.”
